Setup DNS For a Multi-Park Booking Integration
Find out how to update DNS settings to point your custom domain to your new booking integration
BlockCMS enables you to point your booking integration to any domain, or subdomain that you own and have access to. Follow these steps to connect your domain to your custom booking integration:
Add a Subdomain DNS Record
Creating a subdomain to host your booking integration is the best approach when plugging a booking integration into an existing, or non-BlockCMS website. Follow these steps to add a subdomain:
- Log in to the platform where your domain is located. Some common platforms include: GoDaddy, Squarespace (formerly Google Domains), Namecheap, and there are many more.
- Select the domain you want to update and navigate to the DNS settings. This varies slightly by each platform, but you can often find instructions by Googling, "How to update DNS records on GoDaddy" (replacing GoDaddy with your platform).
- Add the following record:
Host Type Data book
(can be any subdomain you like)
A 11.11.11.111
(Actual IP address provided by White Pine Digital)
- Email the BlockCMS team, or your point of contact at White Pine Digital once this record is created. Let us know which subdomain you chose (ex: book., or reservation., etc). We will deploy the SSL certificates and your booking integration will be live!
